"Oracle to have more cloud regions than AWS by end-2020"

<p>Oracle co-founder and CTO Larry Ellison said his organisation will have more Cloud regions globally than AWS by the end of 2020. Oracle Cloud is present in 16 hyper-scale regions around the world. AWS Cloud is there in 69 Availability Zones within 22 geographic Cloud regions, with plans for nine more Availability Zones and three more regions. Microsoft Azure currently leads with 50 Cloud regions while Google Cloud Platform has a presence in 20.</p>
